Julie Anderson is the Chief Administrative Officer for NIMHD. She has over 20 years of customer service and administrative service expertise.

She joined the Health and Human Services family in 2014 providing intramural administrative service support to the NIH Clinical Center (CC) before transitioning to Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) to provide intramural and extramural administrative support.

Prior to joining HHS Julie provided administrative support to the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Services for 3 years, and brings over 10 years of experience from the private sector.

Julie received her Associate of Arts degree from the Community College of Baltimore County in 2007; Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, industrial/organizational from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in 2011; Master of Science degree in human resources management from the University of Maryland, University College (UMUC) in 2014; and her Master of Business Administration from UMUC in 2016.

Along the way, she also obtained various certifications. In 2011 she obtained the upper-level Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) Psychology of the Workplace certification from UMBC. In 2013, she obtained certifications for the Foundations of Human Resource Management and Leadership and Management from the UMUC.
