Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring (2019) — The PAESMEM is the highest national mentoring award bestowed by the United States White House. Dr. Vishwanatha has received this award as the principal investigator of the National Research Mentoring Network and a Regents Professor of molecular and medical genetics.
