Background

Andrew Eron is the Communications Editor/Project Manager in the Office of Communications and Public Liaison at NIMHD. In this role, he facilitates efforts to promote NIMHD and NIH’s research, training, education, and outreach activities and exhibits. He also serves as managing editor for NIMHD’s internal newsletter and produces content for NIMHD’s digital channels.

Prior to NIMHD, Mr. Eron spent much of his career in non-profit communications, focusing on health disparities. He has worked for the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), managing email marketing, strategic paid advertising, and numerous nationwide initiatives to advance PHA’s work to increase health equity through access to nutritious food.

Before that, he served at the Wendt Center for Loss and Healing to support its mission to ensure all people throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area have equitable access to grief and trauma mental health services.

Mr. Eron holds a Master of Arts degree in writing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology/sociology from Ursinus College.
